Heat a skillet over medium-low heat, or set your electric griddle to 375°F.
3
Place a teaspoon of butter or oil on the griddle/skillet. Once the butter foam subsides or the oil shimmers, that’s how you know it’s game on.
4
In a medium-sized bowl, combine pancake mix and 1 cup of MTN DEW®. If you feel up to it, add a few drops of electric green food coloring. It’s not necessary, but it definitely makes this more fun.
5
Ladle batter for each pancake onto your griddle/skillet, making them any size you like. We don’t judge.
6
Turn your pancakes over once you see bubbles rise to the surface. Catch ya on the flip side.
7
Adjust heat as necessary. Cook until the second side is lightly browned.
8
SYRUP:
9
Bring sugar, corn syrup and 1 cup of MTN DEW® to a boil on the stovetop.
10
Stir until sugar dissolves. Turn off heat once the mixture reaches 230°F.
11
Drizzle your pancakes with syrup and butter, if you’re into it.
