Savory sausage links dipped in pancake batter and fried to golden perfection, offering a delightful twist on classic fairground fare.

How to make it

    Cook breakfast sausage links thoroughly. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

    Mix together egg, milk, Pearl Milling Company™ Original pancake mix and melted butter. Allow to rest for about 2 mins.

    Preheat corndog maker/iron. Spray iron with pan spray.

    Transfer batter to a tall glass. Spoon a small amount of batter (1 tbsp) into one of the molds.

    Skewer one breakfast sausage and dip into batter. Place dipped sausage onto the mold with the spooned batter. Repeat until all molds are full.

    Close lid and allow to cook until golden brown.

    Remove from the iron and drizzle with Pearl Milling Company™ syrup, powdered sugar and a sprinkle of bacon. Serve immediately.
