Heat oven to 325ºF. In large bowl, combine oats and cereal. In small bowl, combine maple syrup, oil and vanilla; pour over cereal mixture. Mix until well coated. Transfer to 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes until oats are golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes.

Remove from oven. Immediately stir in remaining ingredients. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Store loosely covered up to 1 week.

Put individual servings of trail mix in resealable plastic bags to eat away from home. Stir into lowfat vanilla yogurt or lowfat cottage cheese for breakfast or a snack. Make a crunchy breakfast parfait by layering trail mix with fresh fruit (sliced bananas, chopped apples, grape halves, pineapples chunks) and lowfat yogurt. Serve cold with milk.
